This is the cutting diagram used to make the desk, the grey is cut from 3/4 plywood and the green from 1x2x8 boards. The black represents the off-cuts.
DIY Bar Stool
This is the cutting diagram I used to make the stool, the red pieces were cut from a 1x4 board, the white from 2x2's, and the green from a 1x12. The dark grey represents offcuts.

DIY Modern Desk
This desk is modern looking, and is simple to make. It can be made with a circular saw, but a miter saw makes the job a lot easier. The zig-zag chair I made recently works perfect with this desk.
